AVA Pacific Beach

I was forced to unexpectedly move on short notice, and everyone here was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The rent is on the pricier side, but after living in a similarly priced complex very close to here, the difference is night and day. This place is worth every penny in my opinion (especially if you take advantage of all the amenities). The apartments and community are clean and secure, staff is friendly and hard working, and it's in a beautiful location, close to so much in San Diego.

I have really enjoyed living at the Ava! The space is beautiful and well maintained, the community is great, and I love my spacious apartment just a few blocks from the bay (in 3 directions). I work from some of the common areas and have to say the absolute highlight of my workdays are getting to have morning chats with some of the staff members. Everyone is so friendly and kind (not to mention exceptional at their jobs). I've been posted up for the past year or so in the spaces that Jorge and Angelica typically work and want to give the two of them a shout in particular - you both are big reasons why the Ava feels like home!

AVA is a decent place to live and not all may have had my experience. PROS: Awesome amenities (Gym, Pool, Tennis Courts, BBQs etc.) Parking, Pet friendly CONS: I had a cockroach infestation for almost 2 months and flooding due to sewer pipes. The walls are also very thin so you can hear your neighbors always. AVA is an old building so keep that in mind. I did have a noteable/wonderful customer service experience with Sanyln K.when the flooding occurred. She went out of her way to accommodate my situation with urgency. She checked in several times and personally went to view that my unit was ready for m to return. She was so pleasant during this stressful situation and did everything she could to make sure that the situation was settled fairly and promptly. Her extra warmth and caring and professionalism was notable as I did not have this experience with a different manager I also dealt with who initially refused to accomodate my situation. Additionally, the maintenance staff Armando Rodriguez was always very quick and helpful whenever I put in a request. He does a great job as well.

I relocated to Ava from out of state (Denver) where previously I lived in high rises' and new properties. I'm so impressed and feel appreciated living here at Ava. The attention to detail the groundskeeping / maintenance / trash crews / leasing / package delivery (Amazon, UPS, FedEx) honestly everyone i've came into contact about Ava... is TOP NOTCH. They keep our community safe, clean, fun, and an enjoyable place to call home. Our residents are also amazing, people who I can call friends! I'm so happy to have found Ava. Thank you!

AVA PB it's been the best experience I've lived so far. I moved from the East Coast and had 9 (also great) places booked, guess which one I picked? AVA PB was the only one that has everything I need: beach, parks and local shops just a few blocks away, amazing amenities (see photos), pets all over the place (who doesn't love them?) and most importantly an energizing fun community and residents. Highly recommended.

I've been living in the AVA apartment community for the past year, and I am beyond satisfied. From the moment I first walked into the leasing office, the quality of care and professionalism was palpable, and it has remained consistently impressive throughout my stay. The management team always responsive and ready to make your living experience as comfortable as possible. In particular, I would like to single out Luis from the leasing office. His warm, friendly demeanor, combined with his exceptional commitment to customer service, has made my stay at AVA feel more like a five-star hotel experience rather than just a typical apartment rental. The level of cleanliness throughout the AVA community is great. The maintenance team is always diligent and the common areas are kept pristine. Security is a priority here at AVA. The grounds are well-lit, the entrances are secure, and there's always a sense of safety and peace throughout the community. The fitness center is well-equipped and always clean, the pool area is like a resort, and the communal spaces are modern and inviting. Thank you, AVA team, and especially Luis, for making this more than just an apartment community, but a place I am proud to call home.
